My name is Rafael López-Alonso Abaitua. I am from Santander and belong to the fifth generation of the López-Alonso winemaking family. I have 14 years of experience representing Spanish wineries in export markets, a role that has given me the opportunity to visit many countries around the world and learn—both about wine and about people. In 2011–2012, I completed a Master’s degree in Oenology and Viticulture at the Polytechnic University of Madrid, after which I began traveling—something I continue to do to this day.
I have organized countless tastings and group experiences where we have enjoyed ourselves and learned in equal measure.
We are fortunate to have vineyards in some of Spain’s most beautiful and special locations, offering wonderful potential for our wine tourism initiatives. We combine these visits with experiences featuring other artisanal products typical of northern Spain, as well as our outstanding gastronomy, nature, culture, and history.
Wine Two Trip’s goal is to show visitors the essence of these places in the most comfortable way possible.

I think that in our region, Cantabria, we are at a time of full growth in the quality of our wines and our wineries.
